It has been some time since I have found the time to post to this blog. I have found it just too difficult to wait until I can get back to my desktop to comment on something and still give a fresh insight.
iPhone 4 + ShapeWriter = I'm back
Now, armed with the latest iPhone and an amazing app called ShapeWriter that lets me write on the screen as fast as I can type on a keyboard. I'm taking this blog on the road, folks. Wish me luck!
The LA Times shamelessly panders to my inner little boy

What? You're moving a 340-ton granite boulder from Riverside County to
LACMA? And you have an interactive diagram of the truck for me to look at???

Good luck!
Don't get beat up by any Android-wielding toughs!
I have a history of skipping from one technology to another without getting my feet wet. This time I want to really get some experience before moving on. My background with Qt tells me that a working application is easy to port to another UI toolkit, whereas getting an application working in the first place is hell on earth. Right now I am stuck in developer hell, even as Apple charges me 30 cents a day for the privilege. :(
And here I considered removing this from an RSS feed...
Ouch, not even an emoticon to soften the blow. :()
Just teasing, Dan--I never even considered removing it. You see, that is a punishment earned only by feeds which begin to annoy me; No posts = no opportunity to annoy me. You're all good!
Or, you were, anyway. ;)
